Dental Cleaning

The health of your teeth is always our primary concern. Regular dental cleanings will keep your smile healthy and strong, and will allow Dr. Ruchika to catch problems before they become serious.
Professional dental cleanings (dental prophylaxis) involves removal of calculus (tartar). Calculus is hardened plaque that has been left on the tooth for some time and is now firmly attached to the tooth surface. Calculus forms above and below the gum line and can only be removed with special dental instruments.
Removal of plaque: Plaque is a sticky, almost invisible film that forms on the teeth. It is a growing colony of living bacteria, food debris, and saliva. The bacteria produce toxins (poisons) that inflame the gums. This inflammation is the start of periodontal disease!
Teeth polishing: Remove stain and plaque that is not otherwise removed during tooth brushing and scaling.

Fluoride Treatment

Fluoride is the most effective agent available to help prevent tooth decay. It is a mineral that is naturally present in varying amounts in almost all foods and water supplies. The benefits of fluoride have been well known for over  50 years and are supported by many health and professional organizations.

Fluoride works in two ways:
Topical fluoride strengthens the teeth once they have erupted by seeping into the outer surface of the tooth enamel, making the teeth more resistant to decay. We gain topical fluoride by using fluoride containing dental products such as toothpaste, mouth rinses, and gels. Dentists and dental hygienists generally recommend that children have a professional application of fluoride twice a year during dental check-ups.

Systemic fluoride strengthens the teeth that have erupted as well as those that are developing under the gums. We gain systemic fluoride from most foods and our community water supplies. It is also available as a supplement in drop or gel form and can be prescribed by your dentist or physician. Generally, fluoride drops are recommended for infants, and tablets are best suited for children up through the teen years. It is very important to monitor the amounts of fluoride a child ingests. If too much fluoride is consumed while the teeth are developing, a condition called fluorosis (white spots on the teeth) may result.

Although most people receive fluoride from food and water, sometimes it is not enough to help prevent decay. Your dentist or dental hygienist may recommend the use of home and/or professional fluoride treatments for the following reasons:
Deep pits and fissures on the chewing surfaces of teeth.
Exposed and sensitive root surfaces.
Fair to poor oral hygiene habits.
Frequent sugar and carbohydrate intake.
Inadequate exposure to fluorides.
Inadequate saliva flow due to medical conditions, medical treatments or medications.
Recent history of dental decay.
Remember, fluoride alone will not prevent tooth decay! It is important to brush at least twice a day, floss regularly, eat balanced meals, reduce sugary snacks, and visit your dentist on a regular basis.

Sealants

A sealant is a thin, plastic coating applied to the chewing surface of molars, premolars and any deep grooves (called pits and fissures) of teeth. More than 75% of dental decay begins in these deep grooves. Teeth with these conditions are hard to clean and are very susceptible to decay. A sealant protects the tooth by sealing deep grooves, creating a smooth, easy to clean surface.
Sealants can protect teeth from decay for many years, but need to be checked for wear and chipping at regular dental visits.

Reasons for sealants:
Children and teenagers – As soon as the six-year molars (the first permanent back teeth) appear or any time throughout the cavity prone years of 6-16.

Adults – Tooth surfaces without decay that have deep grooves or depressions.
Baby teeth – Occasionally done if teeth have deep grooves or depressions and child is cavity prone.

Procedure
Sealants are easily applied by your dentist or dental hygienist and the process takes only a couple of minutes per tooth.
The teeth to be sealed are thoroughly cleaned and then surrounded with cotton to keep the area dry. A special solution is applied to the enamel surface to help the sealant bond to the teeth. The teeth are then rinsed and dried. Sealant material is carefully painted onto the enamel surface to cover the deep grooves or depressions. Depending on the type of sealant used, the material will either harden automatically or with a special curing light.
Proper home care, a balanced diet, and regular dental visits will aid in the life of your new sealants.

Non-surgical Periodontal Therapy

We have advanced training in non-surgical gum treatment. With the use of powerful topical anesthetics and special antibiotics that are placed directly into periodontal "pockets," treating periodontal disease is less painful and more effective today.
Gum disease is manifested in two forms:

Gingivitis The earliest stage of gum disease, causing an inflammation and some bleeding of the gums caused by plaque buildup at the gumline. Gingivitis causes gum inflammation but no bone loss.

Periodontitis The second stage where the supporting bone and fibers that hold your teeth in place are damaged causing bone damage and loss.

The Progression of Gum Disease
Periodontitis is a common complaint affecting approximately 50% of U.S. adults over the age of 30 years. It occurs in people who have preexisting gingivitis which is itself caused by the accumulation of bacteria at the gum line (dental plaque). Your gums may begin to form a pocket below the gumline, which traps food and plaque. If left untreated, plaque calcifies to form dental calculus. Dental calculus must be removed completely by the dentist in order to treat gingivitis and periodontitis. Proper dental treatment and improved home care can usually help prevent further damage. If left untreated, bone supporting your teeth can be destroyed, causing your teeth to shift or loosen.

Treatment of Gum Disease
Our office uses the following services and technologies to treat gum disease:

COMPUTERIZED CHARTING Our computer software allows us to measure the depth of the periodontally infected areas as well as the healthy areas. We can compare your readings from one appointment to the next and provide you with a graphic printout so you can see how you are doing and where you can help yourself with better home care. This also allows us to tailor our treatment, specifically for you.
CAVITRON ULTRASONIC INSTRUMENTATION We use the most modern ultrasonic equipment available to remove plaque buildup quickly and comfortably.

PERIO PROTECT® is a comprehensive method that is customized for individual patients to help manage biofilms – communities of bacteria, growing in the spaces or pockets between teeth and gum tissue. The overall goal of the Perio Protect Method™ is to manage oral biofilm (bacteria) with minimally invasive dentistry for lasting oral health.
Daily oral hygiene is vital in preventing the onset and growth of gum disease. Brushing and flossing keep teeth free from plaque-generating bacteria. In addition it is important to visit the dentist regularly for professional cleanings and examinations.

Tooth-colored  fillings or bonding

Metal-free white fillings are made of a special, durable resin and are designed to match your natural tooth color. Silver darkens the teeth and since it is a metal in a wet environment, it corrodes over time. Tooth-colored fillings not only improve aesthetics, they also restore your tooth's natural strength. Fast, pain-free, natural-looking fillings In one visit, you will have your new composite, tooth-colored fillings. The entire treatment is painless and you'll leave with a smile no one would even know was just worked on. Most patients prefer composite fillings because they are stronger, providing a natural, organic appearance. Your oral health is of utmost important to us, so we want to ensure any filling we place in your mouth will last and prevent any problems down the road. Specific eating guidelines and regular dental visits are suggested  to ensure you get the maximum benefit and longevity out of your fillings.

REASONS FOR COMPOSITE FILLINGS:
Improving decayed teeth
Closing the gap between two teeth
Reshape teeth
Fixing cracked  & worn out teeth

Porcelain inlays & onlays

Porcelain inlays & onlays are used to replace old,  large, corroded, metal amalgam fillings. A more conservative restorative dentistry technique than crowns, porcelain onlays provide strong reinforcement for weakened teeth. Once placed, they "disappear" into the tooth, virtually undetectable in the mouth. They conserve much of your natural tooth structure.

Extractions

After careful examination and health history review, we may recommend extraction of your tooth if it is not restorable. We do simple or surgical extraction at our office. We may refer you to oral surgeon for impacted or difficult extractions

Full and Partial Dentures

Some patients may be able to save some of their teeth by replacing those missing with a removable partial denture. For those patients who require replacement dentures or need full extractions and immediate temporary dentures placed, we can accommodate your needs. In the event you need to have all your teeth removed, you will leave our office with a denture(s) in your mouth and return for follow up care the next day. A denture is a removable dental appliance and a replacement for missing teeth and surrounding tissue. They are made to closely resemble your natural teeth and may even enhance your smile.

There are two types of dentures - complete and partial dentures.  Complete dentures are used when all of the teeth are missing, while partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain.  A partial denture not only fills in the spaces created by missing teeth, it prevents other teeth from shifting.

A complete denture can be either “conventional” or “immediate.”  A conventional type is made after the teeth have been removed and the gum tissue has healed (usually takes 4 to 6 weeks).  During this time, the patient will go without teeth.  Immediate dentures are made in advance and immediately placed after the teeth are removed, thus preventing the patient from having to be without teeth during the healing process.  Once the tissues shrink and heal, adjustments will have to be made.

Dentures are very durable appliances and will last many years but may have to be remade, repaired, or readjusted due to normal wear.

Reasons for dentures:
Complete Denture - Loss of all teeth in an arch.
Partial Denture - Loss of several teeth in an arch.
Enhancing smile and facial tissues.
Improving chewing, speech, and digestion.

Procedure
The process of getting dentures requires several appointments, usually over a period of several weeks.  Highly accurate impressions (molds) and measurements are taken and used to create your custom denture.  Several “try-in” appointments may be necessary to ensure proper shape, color, and fit.  At the final appointment, your dentist will precisely adjust and place the completed denture, ensuring a natural and comfortable fit.

It is normal to experience increased saliva flow, some soreness, and possible speech and chewing difficulty, however this will subside as your muscles and tissues get used to the new dentures.
You will be given care instructions for your new dentures.  Proper cleaning of your new dental appliance, good oral hygiene, and regular dental visits will aid in the life of your new dentures.

Flexible-Dentures or Esthetic Dentures
It was long thought that removable partial dentures had to be rigid to be effective. Traditionally, removable partial dentures were fabricated from a rigid metal base designed to replace missing teeth in partially edentulous patients (meaning patients that were missing only some of their natural teeth). Although full dentures and partial dentures have been used in dentistry for many decades, they can pose many problems for patients, most notably the poor aesthetics that are created from using metal to cover your natural teeth.

The innovation of the flexible partial denture have paved the way for a new type of partial denture, which provides excellent aesthetics and comfort for patients who prefer to wear a removable denture rather than a fixed restoration such as a dental bridge or dental implants. By using a flexible base, the restoration can adapt to the constant movement and flexibility in your mouth.

Flexible partial dentures such as those made by Valplast® are custom-fabricated in a dental laboratory. They are prescription-only products that are placed by a licensed dentist after an impression of your mouth has been taken. Most flexible partial dentures involve very simple preparation because your natural teeth don't need to be altered in any way. Flexible partials can be virtually invisible because there are no telltale metal clasps to cover your natural teeth. Furthermore, most flexible materials blend with the tissue in your mouth so that the only thing that shows is your beautiful smile.

You'll be glad to know that most patients become immediately accustomed to their delicate and light-weight restoration. However, you may experience a brief adjustment period, especially if you have never worn a dental appliance before. Should you experience any persistent irritation, please consult with your dentist so that he or she can make necessary adjustments to your appliance.
It's true that partial dentures bring the beauty back to your smile by replacing missing teeth. And that's a big deal! But the other benefits of partial dentures are important, too.

A partial denture is used when one or more natural teeth remain in the upper or lower jaw. Flexible partial dentures are virtually invisible because there are no telltale metal clasps. In fact, the denture material blends right in with the natural color of the tissue in your mouth so no one has to know you're wearing it. Partial dentures also:

- Make it easier to chew and speak
- Maintain the shape of your face
- Ease the stress of your bite
- Prevent teeth from shifting
- Decrease the risk of gum disease and resulting gum disease treatment

Like your own natural teeth, flexible partial dentures require care and good oral hygiene.
To keep your restoration looking and feeling like new, please follow these simple flexible partial denture care directions:
Clean your appliance regularly. Most brands of flexible partials will have a specific cleaner that is recommended for regular soaking of your new denture. Please consult your dentist if you have any questions regarding the type of denture cleaner you should be using.

Loose particles can be removed with the use of a sonic denture cleaner, or by placing the appliance under running water. Brushing a denture is generally not recommended as this may remove the polish and roughen the surface over time.
If possible, rinse your new dental appliance after eating to remove any food particles.
Keep the partial in water or in denture cleaner whenever it is not being worn to keep the surface hydrated.
Remember to brush your natural teeth and gums regularly as directed by your dentist.

Dental Bridges

A bridge is a permanent replacement for missing teeth ,In other words grouping of interconnected crowns designed to replace missing teeth and support surrounding teeth, a bridge can help correct your bite issues, reduce the risk of gum disease and even improve speech. Bridges are durable and effective and can last for over 10 years. Dental bridges are not removable like a partial denture. They provide long lasting support to the teeth and function like natural teeth. When one or more teeth are missing, the remaining teeth can shift out of position, leading to a change in the bite & shifting of teeth & eventually  loss of additional teeth, decay and gum disease.

As soon as the bridgework is permanently cemented, you can start to once again, enjoy your favorite foods with confidence. Bridgework allows you to avoid that sunken-in appearance caused by missing teeth. A bridge stabilizes that area of the dental arch to give you a more youthful appearance, allowing you to smile once more with confidence.

TWO VISIT PROCEDURE
During your first visit Dr Verma  will prepare and shape the teeth on each side of the space where the crowns will be placed. Then, we make an mold or impression of the area. The false tooth will be bonded to them, once the crowns are finished. When the bridge is ready, a transitional (or temporary) bridge is fitted and formed in the area. During your next visit (Most likely in 1  week ), the transitional bridge is removed and the permanent fixed bridge is placed, adjusted and cemented into place. A crown is a great solution if you have considerable damage to your teeth, whether from decay, the effect of a fracture or from a formerly unsuccessful restoration. If you need Crowns Dentist Little Rock can help you.

Porcelain Crowns

When a tooth is badly decayed, cracked, or damaged in any way, a crown may be necessary to restore the tooth. A  crown is a very natural looking and long lasting restoration. These crowns match the natural color of your teeth and combine beauty with durability.. While crowns strengthen and protect your remaining tooth structure, they can also improve the appearance of your smile.  Dental crowns will restore the appearance of your teeth while also affecting the muscles in your face. A crown will be the same shape and size as your natural tooth. As a result, it will keep your bite and your jaw aligned. Additionally, it will make sure other teeth don’t shift  & end up taking  the space of other tooth & compromise  chewing  which potentially results in jaw pain and more serious problems.

Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are very thin pieces of durable, tooth shaped porcelain that are custom made (for shape and color) by a professional dental laboratory. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to create a beautiful and attractive smile.Veneers can completely reshape your teeth and smile. They can often be alternatives to crowns and the ideal solution in treating many dental conditions. As with most dental restorations, veneers are not permanent and may someday need replacement. They are very durable and will last many years, giving you a beautiful long lasting smile.

Reasons for porcelain veneers:
Cosmetically, to create a uniform, white, beautiful smile.
Crooked teeth.
Misshapen teeth.
Severely discolored or stained teeth.
Teeth that are too small or large.
Unwanted or uneven spaces.
Worn or chipped teeth.

Procedure
Getting veneers usually requires two visits to complete the process, with little or no anesthesia required during the procedure. The teeth are prepared by lightly buffing and shaping the surface to allow for the thickness of the veneer. A mold or impression of the teeth is taken and a shade (color) will then be chosen by you and the dentist.

On the second visit the teeth will be cleansed with special liquids to achieve a durable bond. Bonding cement is then placed between the tooth and veneer and a special light beam is used to harden and set the bond.

You will receive care instructions for veneers. Proper brushing, flossing and regular dental visits will aid in the life of your new veneer

When it comes to enhancing the health and functionality of your natural teeth, dental veneers, crowns, inlays, onlays and bridges are important restorations.  A bright, sparkling smile can be an enormous confidence-booster and have a remarkable effect on a person’s appearance. IPS e.max is devoted to creating natural-looking restorations as one of the world leaders in dental ceramics.

IPS E-MAX DENTAL RESTORATIONS

IPS e.max veneers, crowns, onlays and dental bridges are distinguished and renowned for their durability, strength and exceptional optical properties. IPS e.max restorations are completely metal-free and are created and built from inorganic material which is baked and cured at high temperatures.IPS e.max is always enhancing and refining their restorations to make sure they look natural and reinstate complete functionality to the teeth.
Traditional ceramic restorations were known for being brittle and expensive to repair after sustaining damage. IPS e.max however, has developed a heat-pressed glass ceramic that is immeasurably durable and strong.  Several reasons contribute to this including the high shrinkage of leucite crystals. This shrinkage means that compressive stress is created during the vitreous stage, therefore it prevents cracking and breakage.
The exceptional veneer stain and glaze also increases strength by as much as 50%. These elements combined create a thicker restoration that resistant to fracture. IPS e.max have a 100% chance of surviving the first three years, meaning less dental visits, less expense and a sensational, comfortable smile.

ADVANTAGES OF IPS E.MAX RESTORATIONS
Bio-compatible
Do not affect other dentition
Ease of application
Excellent polishing properties
Many levels of translucency available
Metal-free
Natural-looking
Shades match the other teeth
IPS e.max has created many natural-looking restorations, including:
IPS E.MAX VENEERS
These veneers are very-thin ceramic and porcelain covers which permanently fit over natural teeth. IPS e.max veneers are perfect for covering stained and disfigured teeth. They are stain and bacteria-resistant, strong and can be created to match the natural tooth shade.

IPS E.MAX CROWNS
These crowns are generally placed after root canal therapy or after the removal of tooth decay. IPS e.max crowns have been proven to last longer than many types of crowns and once again, can be matched exactly to the natural tooth shade. There is no visible ugly metal edge, just an amazing end result.

IPS E.MAX INLAYS / ONLAYS
Traditional amalgam fillings are currently being replaced by inlays and onlays. Amalgam is unsightly and unhealthy for the body. IPS e.max ceramic inlays and overlays are healthy and strong and usually invisible to onlookers.

IPS E.MAX BRIDGES
As with all IPS e.max products, IPS e.max bridges are a completely natural-looking way to replace missing teeth. Metal bridges are often highly visible and make the teeth look shorter. IPS e.max bridges are almost impossible to spot while restoring symmetry and sparkle to the smile.

Root Canals

Believe it or not, root canal therapy is typically a painless procedure. A root canal is the removal of a defective nerve inside an infected tooth. Dr. Ruchika has had extensive training in this procedure and has all of the latest technology to make this procedure fast and painless. Root canal therapy is needed when the nerve of a tooth is affected by decay or infection. In order to save the tooth, the pulp (the living tissue inside the tooth), nerves, bacteria, and any decay are removed and the resulting space is filled with special, medicated, dental materials, which restore the tooth to its full function.

Having a root canal done on a tooth is the treatment of choice to save a tooth that otherwise would die and have to be removed. Many patients believe that removing a tooth that has problems is the solution, but what is not realized is that extracting (pulling) a tooth will ultimately be more costly and cause significant problems for adjacent teeth.

Root canal treatment is highly successful and usually lasts a lifetime, although on occasion, a tooth will have to be retreated due to new infections.

Signs and symptoms for possible root canal therapy:
An abscess (or pimple) on the gums.
Sensitivity to hot and cold.
Severe toothache pain.
Sometimes no symptoms are present.
Swelling and/or tenderness.
Reasons for root canal therapy:
Decay has reached the tooth pulp (the living tissue inside the tooth).
Infection or abscess have developed inside the tooth or at the root tip.
Injury or trauma to the tooth.
Procedure
A root canal procedure requires one or more appointments and can be performed by a dentist or endodontist (a root canal specialist).

While the tooth is numb, a rubber dam (a sheet of rubber) will be placed around the tooth to keep it dry and free of saliva. An access opening is made on top of the tooth and a series of root canal files are placed into the opening, one at a time, removing the pulp, nerve tissue, and bacteria. If tooth decay is present, it will also be removed with special dental instruments.
Once the tooth is thoroughly cleaned, it will be sealed with either a permanent filling or, if additional appointments are needed, a temporary filling will be placed.

At the next appointment, usually a week later, the roots and the inside cavity of the tooth will be filled and sealed with special dental materials. A filling will be placed to cover the opening on top of the tooth. In addition, all teeth that have root canal treatment should have a crown (cap) placed. This will protect the tooth and prevent it from breaking, and restore it to its full function. After treatment, your tooth may still be sensitive, but this will subside as the inflammation diminishes and the tooth has healed.

You will be given care instructions after each appointment. Good oral hygiene practices and regular dental visits will aid in the life of your root canal treatment.

Orthodontics & Invisalign

TRADITIONAL BRACES
These are the most common type of braces. They are much smaller and more comfortable than those in the past. More importantly, the smaller brackets cover less area of the tooth, making it easier to monitor the state of the oral hygiene. We offer a variety of colored elastics that are changed at every appointment. The reason for this is that these elastics hold the wire that moves the teeth to the brackets. The elastics lose their stretch after a period of time and must be changed in order to be effective.

INVISALIGN®
While every dentist or orthodontist who offers this revolutionary treatment is trained by the makers of Invisalign® to become a certified provider, there are different doctor designations based on overall experience and success with treating patients using the clear teeth aligners. Dr Ruchika Verma is  qualified as an Invisalign® preferred Provider based on her skill and expertise with the teeth straightening system.

Invisalign is the virtually invisible way to straighten your teeth without braces, using a series of clear, removable aligners to straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets. You wear each set of clear aligners for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move - little by little, week by week - until they have straightened to the final position your orthodontist or dentist has prescribed. You'll visit your orthodontist or dentist about once every six weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.
Total treatment time averages 9-15 months and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both will vary from case to case.

An Invisalign-trained dentist will utilize 3D computer imaging technology to demonstrate the complete treatment plan from the initial position to the final desired position. This imaging technology is then used to design an individualized series of custom-made aligners. The patient wears the aligner for about two weeks while the teeth move incrementally. After two weeks, the current aligner is replaced with the next one until the final position is achieved.

What do aligners look like?
Aligners are clear and nearly invisible. If you've ever seen clear tooth-whitening trays, that should give you a good idea of what the aligners look like. Invisalign aligners are custom-made to fit and move your teeth.

Will the treatment be painful?
Each time you change to a new aligner, there may be some temporary discomfort while your teeth adjust to their new position. This is completely normal, and is a good sign that the treatment is working.

Will wearing Invisalign aligners affect my speech?
Some people are affected more than others, but most adjust in a short period of time to the feeling of the aligners and do not have permanent changes in their speech.

How often will I have to wear my aligners?
Invisalign only works while you're wearing the aligners. It's recommended that you wear your aligners full-time, day and night, except to eat, brush, and floss your teeth.

How much does Invisalign cost?
Cost is always a concern, and only your doctor can determine the price of treatment. It is typically in the same range as ordinary metal braces, ranging from $3,000 to $5,000 or more, depending on the requirements of your case.

Does Invisalign really work?
Yes. In orthodontic and dental practices nationwide, Invisalign has been proven effective at straightening teeth.

Does insurance cover Invisalign?
Any insurance plan that covers orthodontics should cover Invisalign.

INVISALIGN® TEEN
Invisalign® Teen is a version of the traditional Invisalign® clear aligners that is designed for younger patients, typically those in adolescence who need effective teeth-straightening treatment but would like to avoid the hassles and self-consciousness associated with metal or plastic braces. Invisalign® Teen uses the same technology as adult version of Invisalign®, while being unique to a teenager’s dental needs and lifestyles.
Invisalign® Teen allows younger teenage patients to straighten their teeth with clear aligners that can be removed while eating, drinking, brushing, and while participating in such activities as sports and music. With Invisalign® Teen, there are none of the traditional problems with metal braces such as broken wires or brackets, and patients can have better overall dental hygiene with the ability to brush and floss more effectively.

Teen aligners Invisalign® are a perfect fit for your lifestyle, because aligners are:

Bruxism & grinding

Bruxism is the act of consciously or unconsciously clenching or grinding your teeth either during the day or while you sleep. Bruxism is considered both a medical and a dental problem. This is because it affects both the teeth and all of the structure near it, including the head.

Effects of Bruxism
Teeth grinding, although it is not a major health issue, can bring about problems like mouth, jaw, and face problems, broken dentures, missing teeth, and many others. It is very important for adults to consult a dentist so that their teeth grinding habit is addressed before any further problems develop.People grind their teeth for a variety of reasons. Doctors believe that it is because of stress. Dentists say that it happens because one’s teeth are not properly aligned with each other. Whatever the cause treatment should not be delayed.

Indications of Bruxism
Intense clenching of teeth enough to wake up somebody.
Flattened, worn down, and chipped teeth.
Worn teeth enamels.
Sensitive teeth (extensive pain in their gums when their teeth are subjected to something very cold or very hot.)
Pain and tightness in the jaws and its muscles.
Instances of earaches (when the jaws move constantly and involuntarily the muscle that connects to the ear suffers as well).
Headaches.
Facial pains.
Damaged cheek tissue.

Treatment for Bruxism
You will be fitted by our dentist with custom Mouth Guards to prevent you from grinding and clenching your teeth. Night mouth guards are bite pads that are worn at night as you sleep. These guards are made of high-grade plastic and should fit the teeth or mouth perfectly. This device keeps the upper teeth from grinding with the lower teeth, offering an instant solution to teeth clenching problems.
Call us today to schedule an appointment if you are experiencing problems with teeth grinding.

Dental Implants

Before development of dental implants, dentures were the only alternative to replacing a missing tooth or teeth.

Implants are synthetic structures that are placed in the area of the tooth normally occupied by the root. Implants are anchored to the jawbone or metal framework on the bone and act as a foundation for an artificial tooth or permanent bridge. In some cases, implants can be used to attach dentures.
